During the year, students will be exposed to the Spanish language and it's many cultures. Conversational Spanish is the focus through songs and activities.
About Me
This is my ninth year at Star Academy. I'm so excited to see all my students again and welcome all our new students to Star this year. We're going to have a fun year in Spanish!
I fell in love with the Spanish language when I had the opportunity to study abroad in college. When I came back, I changed my major and got my degree in Spanish, with a minor in Italian, from San Diego State University.
Before coming to Sacramento, I lived in San Francisco where I met my husband. We were married in his lovely country, Nicaragua. We have two children, already in their 20's!
I have a cat named Allie. In my spare time, I enjoy photography and I also love to dance Salsa.
